“Notbroken” from the Something for the Rest of Us, the new album by The Goo Goo Dolls out today.
The song is told from the perspective of a wife whose husband is coming home paralyzed after serving in Iraq. Although he is ashamed of his injuries, she welcomes his home with all her love.
(I know that The Goo Goo Dolls haven’t been relevant for ten years, but hey, they still exist and are still making music that you would have loved in the 90’s!)
